NATIONAL: Maureen Seibler spoke about a little-known but very important topic - the Parental Rights Ammendment. www.parentalrights.org This topic is important, not only to parents, but to all Americans, as our rights are under daily attack. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-4CimpXKPWo

The 912 group was challenged to take some proactive steps toward changing/bettering our local government through taking petitions out to be signed regarding a more cost effective animal shelter than the CPC. You will find a Daniel Road Project Facts Sheet and a Petition at the following links:

Even if you were not at the meeting, you can participate in this endeavor. Just print out a petition and take it to friends, neighbors and people that you meet... We will be collecting signatures during the months of August/September to present before the Commissioners at the October meeting. This is a positive action plan for reducing debt in our county. Please email me if you have questions.
